ZERO GRAVITY CRAFT BREWERY is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable beer enthusiast to join our team as a Brand Ambassador. Brand Ambassadors will represent the brewery at various tastings across the designated regions acting as the“face” of the brand. This hourly, part-time position requires evening and weekend availability, as well as the ability to travel throughout GREATER PHILADELPHIA AREA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

● Attend retail tastings and/or craft beer events as scheduled by Zero Gravity

● Maintain a positive and passionate attitude regarding Zero Gravity and more generally, craft beer

● Engage with shoppers, event attendees and other craft beer affiliates to help communicate the mission, products and brand attitude of Zero Gravity Craft Brewery

● Ability to frame Zero Gravity products in an approachable manner that encourages patrons and potential customers to understand and appreciate our products

Packaging Operator

Packaging Line Operators are responsible for packaging all products in a safe and high-quality manner as directed by the Packaging Manager and the Chief Operating Officer. This position is additionally responsible for the daily operation, cleaning and sanitizing of packaging equipment, including can filler, keg washer/filler and ancillary packaging equipment.  

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of daily packaging tasks including operation and maintenance of equipment;

• Maintain a high level of output for a 40-hour weekly schedule, depending on production needs, overtime will be required at times;

• Load raw materials and process aids across production stages;

• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area;

• Prepare hoses, fittings, and clamps as required for production and cleaning operations;

• Perform production operations, CIP’s, and sanitation practices according to SOP’s set forth by the company;

• Perform basic maintenance tasks on pumps, valves, tanks, and process equipment;

• Ensure accurate and efficient completion of daily warehouse operations;

• Store and organize finished goods as they are completed on the packaging line, maintaining safety & accessibility;

• Prepare shipments of finished goods, maintaining proper stock rotation;

• Load and unload trucks as needed and ensure correct quantities are shipped & received;

• Keep diligent record of shipments and deliveries, including providing necessary communication to the operations team;

• Embrace a process of and opportunities for continual improvement;

• Willingness to fill in other job duties as necessary and perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Willing to learn and work hard;

• Punctual and reliable;

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment a plus;

• Ability to stand and lift for up to 8 hours a shift;

Working Environment/Physical Demands
This job is conducted in a manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature changes and at times the work areas may be wet where personal protection needs to be worn. Production staff often stand in one place for most of their shift and do repetitive motions. A Zero Gravity Sales Representative is responsible for representing one of the Northeast’s most reputable breweries with passion, class, and drive. This position is responsible for maximizing the sales of our craft beer portfolio through effective planning, selling, merchandising, and communicating that allows achievement of company and supplier objectives.

Responsibilities

• Represent Zero Gravity at all significant craft beer events within designated territory and conduct promotions with accounts on regular basis (NEW YORK, NY)

• Work independently to develop and maintain effective customer relationships

• Identify opportunities to open new accounts and grow the ZG brand

• Successfully reach or exceed monthly sales goals

• Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned areas

• Maintain proper merchandising of accounts with point of sale (POS) advertising, including set up and organization of displays

• Prepare and present professional sales presentations to customers by combining both the company’s priorities and customers’ needs

• Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing weekly communication and relationship management; resolving any issues that may arise post-sale and alert current, potential and previous customers of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• A strong passion and knowledge of craft beer, the industry, and its retail consumers

• 3+ years of experience in the beer, wine & spirits industry or 3+ years of outer market sales experience

• Experience with VIP or other reporting programs in addition to Google Suites

• Be located in the territory for which Sales Representative is responsible for (NEW YORK, NY)

• Be a self-motivated, self-starter with a “get-it-done” attitude

• Ability to travel, work flexible schedules and the ability to work nights and weekends

• Excellent organizational, planning, and sales skills

• Excellent oral, analytical, written, and communication skills

• Dynamic public speaking and presentation skills

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
