Pitchfork Farm

This year we had the opportunity to make a beer that celebrated all that Vermont agriculture has to offer, a true love letter to our friends and our hometown.

First we headed down to visit our longtime friends at Pitchfork Farm.

Pitchfork is located in the Intervale Center, a farm incubator in Burlington, VT that offers growth opportunities and support for small farms and businesses to keep active working land in the heart of our little city.

We helped them pick 3,000 pounds of perfectly ripe Sugar Baby watermelons, grown right in their fields.

We then turned those watermelons into, I Carried a Watermelon, a watermelon gose ale that is tart, fruity, and unbelievably refreshing. We put this beer into cans featuring a design by local artist, Sarah Letteney.

Thank you to our dear friends for helping us create this end of summer harvest dream.
