Snowfarm Vineyard

We were lucky enough to recently collaborate with our friends at Snowfarm Vineyard in South Hero, Vermont to make a very special beer. Snowbird is a lovely, bottle aged sour that was born from a true Vermont collaboration between friends. Take one look at this vineyard nestled in the picturesque Champlain Islands, and you’ll understand why we couldn’t wait to get out there as soon as possible and get to work.

Our team headed out to Snowfarm to help hand pick the grapes that were used in Snowbird. We chose their Baco Noir grapes for their depth of flavor, notes of dark fruit, and snappy acidity.

We had a great time harvesting the grapes, learning about how they are grown right here in Vermont, and of course drinking a couple of beers amongst the vines.

The result was a bright sour aged on Baco Noir grape must. Snowbird is a celebration of Vermont land and a labor of love; using products grown here right in our state and harvested with our own hands. Whenever you crack open this effervescent little bottle, be sure to share it with someone you love.
